Scattered rain expected over central and south Luzon areas, the Western Visayas

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and the Western Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the monsoon trough, according to PAGASA's Saturday afternoon forecast.

PAGASA warned against possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rain.

The monsoon trough is also expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Flash floods and landslides are also possible due to severe thunderstorms, according to the weather agency.

Meanwhile, the PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 25.2°C at 5 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 32.4°C at noon. — DVM, GMA News
