Monsoon trough to bring rains over NCR, rest of the country

A monsoon trough will bring rains over the National Capital Region and the rest of the country on Sunday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

NCR, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, MIMAROPA and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may result following moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
