Cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of south Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao due to trough of LPA


The trough of a Low Pressure Area (LPA) will be affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA reported.

Visayas, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the trough of a Low Pressure Area with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.

Luzon and Visayas will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to northwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving southwestward while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
