ITCZ to bring rainshowers, thunderstorms over parts of the country

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Palawan, Mindanao, and Eastern and Central Visayas, according to PAGASA on Wednesday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned against possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

ITCZ and localized thunderstorms may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the National Capital Region and the rest of the country.

Flash floods and landslides are also possible.

Meanwhile, the PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 25°C at 5 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 32.5°C at 1:50 p.m.—Joahna Lei Casilao/LDF, GMA News
