Cloudy skies, scattered rains over Palawan, Visayas, Mindanao due to the ITCZ


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ / localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The wind speed for the rest of the country will be slight to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
