ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Palawan, Visayas, Mindanao

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to ITCZ / Localized Thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to east direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
