Cloudy skies, scattered rains to prevail over the country —PAGASA

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over the Camarines Provinces, Quezon, and Aurora due to the easterlies, PAGASA said Sunday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the state weather agency warned affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to, at times, heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the easterlies or localized thunderstorms will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Flash floods or landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms, PAGASA added.

Further, the whole country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.

The PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden in Quezon City also reported a minimum temperature of 25.2°C at 5 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 34°C at 2 p.m.
