PAGASA: Cloudy skies, scattered rain over several parts of the country

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Camarines Provinces, Albay, Catanduanes, Marinduque, Quezon, and Aurora due to the easterlies, PAGASA said Monday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather bureau advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to, at times, heavy rain.

Meanwhile, the easterlies or localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Flash floods or landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms, PAGASA said.

Further, the whole country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.

The PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden in Quezon City also reported a minimum temperature of 25.2°C at 5 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 34°C at 2 p.m.
