Tropical depression enters PAR, now known as Isang

The tropical depression being monitored east of Luzon on Thursday entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

In a post on Twitter, state weather forecaster PAGASA said the tropical depression will be locally known as Isang.

Tropical cyclone bulletins will be issued beginning 11 a.m., PAGASA said.

For Thursday, PAGASA said easterlies will be affecting parts of the country.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies. —KBK, GMA News
