Easterlies to bring scattered rains over Cagayan Valley, Aurora


Cagayan Valley and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Sunday due to the easterlies, PAGASA said in its early morning weather bulletin.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and BARMM meanwhile will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). PAGASA said flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of the country on the other hand will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the easterlies and ITCZ. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
