ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of Luzon, Visayas


Cloudy skies, scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect several areas in Luzon and the Visayas on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Wind speed forecast for the western section of Luzon is light to moderate moving in the south to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast with slight to moderate coastal waters.
