PAGASA: Cloudy skies, isolated rains to prevail over Philippines due to ITCZ

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the intertropical convergence zone and localized thunderstorms, PAGASA said Thursday.

In its daily weather forecast, the weather bureau advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions will be experienced in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden in Quezon City also reported a minimum temperature of 26°C at 5:10 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 33.6°C at 1:45 p.m.
