Cloudy skies, isolated rains for NCR due to localized thunderstorms —PAGASA

Localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA said Wednesday.

In its daily weather bulletin, PAGASA said flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms.

The weather agency also said the trough of Typhoon Mindulle is affecting the eastern sections of northern and Central Luzon.

The center of the eye of Mindulle was last seen 1,420 kilometers east of extreme northern Luzon at 10 a.m. with maximum sustained winds of 175 km per hour near the center, gustiness up to 215 kph, and central pressure of 935 hPa.

Further, PAGASA said moderate to rough winds and coastal water conditions will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Northern Luzon.

Central Luzon and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/BM, GMA News
