PAGASA: Northeast Monsoon to dampen northern, central Luzon areas

Six areas in northern and central Luzon will continue to experience light rains and cloudy skies caused by the Northeast Monsoon on Wednesday afternoon, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In PAGASA's 4 p.m. daily weather forecast, the weather bureau said the Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over the Bicol Region and the province of Quezon.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon because of the Northeast Monsoon.

For Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be expected brought about by the localized thunderstorms, PAGASA said.
