Cloudy skies, scattered rains over Visayas, Caraga, Bicol due to the shear line


The shear line will be affecting the eastern section of Visayas while the northeast monsoon will be affecting Luzon on Wednesday, according to the early morning forecast by PAGASA.

Visayas, Caraga, and the Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and the northern portion of Quezon including Polillo Islands will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorm with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Luzon and Visayas will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The eastern section of Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northwestward while coastal waters will remain moderate to rough.

The wind speed forecast for the rest of Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the north to northwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
