Shear line to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over eastern Visayas, Bicol


The shear line will be affecting the eastern section of Visayas on Wednesday as the northeast monsoon will affect Luzon and the rest of Visayas, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Eastern Visayas and Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms brought about by the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

The wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
