PAGASA: Northeast Monsoon to bring rain over Luzon, Visayas

The Northeast Monsoon would bring cloudy skies and rain over the Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas, PAGASA said Monday.

In its daily weather bulletin, PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rain.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain would also prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas due to the Northeast Monsoon.

Meanwhile, Mindanao would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers due to the Easterlies or localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides were possible during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon, the rest of Luzon, the Visayas, and the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao could expect moderate to strong winds, and moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Mindanao could expect light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters. — DVM, GMA News
