Cloudy skies, light rains over parts of norther Luzon due to northeast monsoon


There will be cloudy skies and light rain over parts of northern Luzon on Thursday due to the northeast monsoon, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains brought about by the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

The Ilocos Region and the Cordillera Administrative Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The eastern sections of central and southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong moving in the east to northeast directions while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
