The shear line (tail-end of the frontal system) will be affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon, while easterlies will affect the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, the state weather bureau PAGASA said Friday.

According to PAGASA's 4 p.m. weather forecast, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, and Ilocos Norte will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to shear line.

The weather bureau said possible flash floods or landslides during moderate with at times heavy rains may occur.

Caraga and Eastern Visayas will also have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by easterlies.
