Cloudy conditions, scattered rain expected across Luzon areas

Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Zambales, and Bataan could expect cloudy conditions with scattered showers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon, weather service PAGASA predicted in a Saturday afternoon forecast.

PAGASA also warned that the moderate to at times heavy rain in these areas could cause flash floods or landslides.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country could expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated showers or thunderstorms.

Winds over extreme northern Luzon would be moderate from the southwest, with coastal conditions expected to be slight to moderate

The rest of Luzon would experience light to moderate winds from the south to southwest with slight to moderate sea conditions.

Light to moderate from the east to southeast could be expected over the rest of the country with slight to moderate coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
