PAGASA: Hot, humid weather due to ridge of high pressure area

A ridge of high pressure area will extend over the eastern section of the Luzon region and will bring hot, humid day, PAGASA said Monday.

In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms.

It also warned against the possible flash floods or landslides brought about by severe thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds will blow over the country with slight to moderate coastal winds of around 0.6 to 2.1 meters.

Maximum temperature is 33.4°C at 2 p.m. and the minimum temperature is 26.2°C at 5 a.m., PAGASA said.

The sun is set to rise at 5:27 a.m. on Wednesday.—Sundy Locus/LDF, GMA News
