Easterlies to bring rains over Philippines

Easterlies will affect the eastern section of the country, PAGASA said Friday.

In its latest bulletin, the state weather bureau said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the easterlies  and localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms, it added.

Wind in the whole of the archipelago will be light to moderate. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
