Ridge of high pressure area affecting eastern parts of Southern Luzon, Visayas

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country on Monday due to localized thunderstorms.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin on Monday, PAGASA said the ridge of a high pressure area is extending  over the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas.

It added that light to moderate winds moving south to souteast are prevailing over Luzon while light to moderate winds moving southest to south are prevailing over Visayas and Mindanao.

Temperature is expected to be at 32.4°C — the highest for the day — at 2 p.m. and 25.1°C — the lowest — at 6 a.m.

PAGASA said there is no tropical cyclone being monitored as of Monday morning. —KBK, GMA News
