Easterlies to bring scattered rains over Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon

The easterlies will be affecting the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas while the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao on Tuesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for northern and central Luzon is moderate moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be moderate.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to east direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
