Visayas, Mindanao, Palawan to have cloudy skies with rain showers

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, PAGASA said on Wednesday afternoon.

In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, Mindanao and eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

Flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains, PAGASA said.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Affected residents were advised to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The whole archipelago will have light to moderate wind speeds moving northeast to east with slight to moderate coastal water conditions, with waves ranging from 0.6 meters to 2.5 meters high.

Maximum temperature is 32.4°C at 2 p.m. and the minimum temperature is 25°C at 5 a.m., PAGASA said.

The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:46 a.m. on Thursday.—Mel Matthew Doctor/LDF, GMA News
