The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect the Mindanao region on Thursday, the state weather bureau PAGASA said Wednesday.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may prevail over the Visayas and Mindanao region, Palawan, Albay, Sorsogon, and Masbate due to the ITCZ, the agency said in its 4 p.m. bulletin.

Batanes province may experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the shear line.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, meanwhile, may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the localized thunderstorms.
