ITCZ to affect Mindanao, Palawan –PAGASA

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will continue to bring scattered rain showers across Mindanao and Palawan province, weather bureau PAGASA said Thursday.

In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the agency said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may prevail over Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, and Palawan due to the ITCZ.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters are forecast over extreme Northern Luzon while the rest of the country is expected to experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters.

Temperatures dropped to a low of 25.3 °C at 5 a.m then rose to a high of 31.7°C at 1:50 p.m.
