Scattered rains over Mindanao, parts of Visayas, Bicol, Palawan due to ITCZ, trough of LPA


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring scattered rains over Mindanao and Palawan on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Bicol Region, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ and Trough of Low Pressure Area (LPA) with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains

Quezon, Aurora, Isabela, and mainland Cagayan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Extreme Northern Luzon and the eastern section the country will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeast to east while coastal waters remain slight to moderate.
