Easterlies to prevail across country

The easterlies will affect the entire country, PAGASA said Saturday.

The Bicol Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, as well as possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains, according to PAGASA's 24-hour public weather forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the wind speed forecast for Luzon is moderate to strong, moving east to northeast, while coastal water conditions will be moderate to rough.

Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate wind speeds moving east to northeast, while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.
