Amihan to bring rains over parts of North Luzon

The northeast monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains over parts of Northern Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and the northern portion of Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains brought about by the northeast monsoon or amihan with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains also due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Luzon and Visayas residents will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The wind speed in Mindanao will be light to moderate moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
