Amihan to bring rain over NCR, Cagayan Valley, CAR, CALABARZON, Aurora


At 3 a.m. Wednesday, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 210 kilometers east northeast of Davao City, the shear line will be affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon and the northeast monsoon or amihan will be affecting the rest of Luzon, PAGASA reported.

Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, CALABARZON, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with rains brought about by the northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line and LPA with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Visayas and the eastern section of Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed also moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The wind speed for the rest of Mindanao will be slight to moderate moving in the northeast to northwest direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
