Rains to continue over Visayas, Mindanao due to shear line

Rains will continue over several parts of the Visayas and Mindanao due to the shear line, weather bureau PAGASA said Tuesday.

PAGASA, in its 4 p.m. forecast, said cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over the Eastern Visayas and Caraga due to the shear line.

It will likewise bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Palawan, the rest of the Visayas, and Mindanao.

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), meanwhile, will bring cloudy skies with rains over the Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, Quezon, and Bicol Region.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains also caused by the Amihan.

Winds in the country will be moderate to strong, to be accompanied by moderate to rough waters.

The sun will rise over Metro Manila on Wednesday at 6:19 a.m. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
