Localized thunderstorms to bring rains over the Philippines — PAGASA

Isolated rain showers may prevail over the Philippines on Monday as the localized thunderstorms continue to affect the country.

State weather bureau PAGASA said the weather system will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, with flash floods and landslides possible during severe thunderstorms.

Easterlies are also affecting the country, PAGASA added.

The weather bureau said moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough waters are forecast in the eastern section of the country while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters will be experienced in the rest of the country.

The sun will set at 5:57 p.m. It will rise Tuesday at 6:23 a.m., PAGASA said. — Sundy Locus/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
