The northeast monsoon (Amihan) and the localized thunderstorms will continue to bring rains in various parts of the country, weather bureau PAGASA reported Tuesday.

Based on its 24-hour public forecast, PAGASA said the Amihan is affecting extreme Northern Luzon, bringing cloudy skies with rains in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon.

It will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains over  Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and possible localized thunderstorms.

Forecast winds in the eastern section of the country will be moderate to strong, to be accompanied by moderate to rough coastal waters. Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters are forecast in the rest of the country.

The sun will rise over Metro Manila on Wednesday at 6:23 a.m., PAGASA added. -Sundy Locus/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
