Amihan to bring cloudy skies, rain over parts of Luzon

The northeast monsoon or amihan will continue to bring cloudy skies and rain over various parts of Luzon on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains brought about by the northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, Western Visayas, and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rains also due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for extreme Northern Luzon and the eastern section of the country is moderate to strong and moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Sunrise will be at 6:22 a.m., sunset at 5:58 p.m. -- BAP, GMA Integrated News
