Northeast Monsoon to bring rains over Cagayan Valley, other parts of Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect Luzon on Saturday and will bring rains over Cagayan Valley and other areas, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with rains due to the monsoon. Flash floods or landslides may possibly result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon except for Palawan may expect partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with light rains also due to the Amihan.

Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao on the other hand will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may possibly result.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the seaboards of Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.

As for the rest of the country, coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
