Amihan to bring rain over parts of Luzon, Visayas

The northeast monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains over parts of Luzon and the Visayas on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Apayao, Aurora, Quezon, and Northern Samar will have cloudy skies with rains brought about by the northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Western Visayas will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with light rains also due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.

Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Luzon, Visayas, and the western section of Mindanao is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
