Amihan to bring rains across eastern Luzon –PAGASA

The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will affect the eastern section of Luzon, according to the weather bureau PAGASA on Saturday.

Based on PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast, the Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with rains.

The weather bureau warned against possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with light rains also due to the Amihan.

Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao would meanwhile experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Luzon and Visayas will be moderate to strong with moderate to rough coastal conditions.

Mindanao, on the other hand, will have light to moderate wind speeds, with slight to moderate coastal conditions expected. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
