Northeast Monsoon to bring rains over parts of Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect Luzon on Monday and will bring rains over several areas, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains due to the monsoon. Flash floods or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, except for the Bicol Region and Palawan, may expect partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with light rains due to the monsoon.

The Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line. Moderate to heavy rains may possibly lead to flash floods or landslides.

Meanwhile, Mindanao, the rest of Visayas, and Palawan may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. Due to severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may result.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough throughout the country.
