Amihan, localized thunderstorms to bring rains across country
The Northeast Monsoon, or Amihan, and localized thunderstorms will continue to bring rains across the country, PAGASA said Saturday.
In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, the state weather bureau said Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon, but no significant impact is expected.
Visayas and Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao is moderate to strong, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds, accompanied by slight to moderate coastal waters. — Sherylin Untalan/VBL, GMA Integrated News
