Easterlies, localized thunderstorms to prevail across country
The easterlies and the localized thunderstorms will bring isolated rain showers across the country, state weather bureau PAGASA said Wednesday.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected in Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the weather systems, PAGASA said in its 24-hour weather forecast.
Flash floods or landslides may occur in the affected areas during severe thunderstorms, the agency added.
Meanwhile, the ridge of the high pressure area continues to affect Northern and Central Luzon.
Light to moderate winds and light to moderate coastal waters are expected to prevail over the country.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:59 a.m. on Thursday. — Sundy Locus/VBL, GMA Integrated News
