PAGASA: Easterlies to bring rain over the eastern Philippines

The Easterlies and localized thunderstorms would bring isolated rain showers over the eastern section of Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA said in its Friday-4 p.m. weather forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country would continue to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms also due to the Easterlies.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast in Northern Luzon would be light to moderate, moving east to southeast, while coastal waters would be light to moderate.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country would have light to moderate winds moving east to northeast, and light to moderate coastal waters.

The sun will set over Metro Manila at 6:07 p.m. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
