Shear line, easterlies to bring scattered rain over parts of the country


The shear line is forecasted to bring cloudy skies and scattered rain over Batanes and Babuyan Islands while easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Extreme Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain light to moderate.
