Easterlies, localized thunderstorms to bring rain showers across PH

The easterlies and localized thunderstorms will bring cloudy skies and rain showers across the country, PAGASA said Saturday.

Palawan, Eastern Visayas, and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies, the state weather bureau said in its 4 p.m. weather forecast.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate, with at times, heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by easterlies and localized thunderstorms, with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon and the rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds, while coastal water conditions will be light to moderate.

The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:52 a.m. on Sunday. —Sherylin Untalan/VBL, GMA Integrated News
