Isolated rain forecasted on Maundy Thursday due to 3 weather systems


The easterlies, the ridge of the High Pressure Area (HPA), and localized thunderstorms will be affecting parts of the country on Maundy Thursday, PAGASA reported.

The agency also reported that the ridge of the HPA will be extending over Northern Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate.

The rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The wind speed forecast for the Visayas and Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
