LPA to bring rain over NCR, 5 provinces


The Low Pressure Area (LPA) [formerly Amang] was located at 40 kilometers southwest of Iba, Zambales at 3 a.m. Friday and will bring rain over Metro Manila and five other provinces, PAGASA reported.

Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales, and Bataan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the LPA with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the LPA and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The eastern section of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving southeastward while coastal waters will be light to moderate.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to south direction with light to moderate coastal waters.
