Easterlies to affect eastern Visayas, Mindanao


The easterlies and the localized thunderstorms will continue to bring rains across parts of the country, state weather bureau PAGASA said Wednesday.

Based on its 24-hour public forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas during severe thunderstorms.

Further, PAGASA said the easterlies will affect the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.

The highest temperature was 34.8°C at 1:50 p.m. while the lowest was 24.5°C at 6 a.m.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions will continue to prevail in the country.
