PAGASA: Easterlies to continue affecting eastern Visayas, Mindanao

Isolated rain showers may persist across parts of the country on Monday due to the easterlies and the localized thunderstorms, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 4 p.m. forecast, the agency said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Flash floods and landslides may occur in the affected areas due to the rainfall, it added.

PAGASA further said the easterlies continue to affect the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.
