Easterlies, thunderstorms to bring rains across country

The easterlies and the Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring rain showers over some parts of the country, PAGASA said Saturday.

The Davao Region, Caraga, and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies and ITCZ, according to PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are expected.

The whole country will experience light to moderate winds, accompanied by slight to moderate coastal water conditions. — Sherylin Untalan/VBL, GMA Integrated News
