LPA to bring rains over Palawan

The low pressure area (LPA) off Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across the province, the state weather bureau PAGASA said Friday.

In its 24-hour weather forecast, PAGASA said the LPA was spotted 75 kilometers west-northwest of Puerto Princesa at 3 p.m.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and the intertropical convergence zone.

The whole country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.

The sun will rise over Metro Manila on Saturday at 5:32 a.m.  —Sundy Locus/VBL, GMA Integrated News
